grhmc Thanks. I can't tell if fronting the static site with CloudFront removes the constraint that bucket names match the CNAME of the site or not. Maybe the easiest thing to do is try to figure out a different Perl library that will do the job. :-|Permalink On twitter.com

grhmc Denouement: freed of the constraint to have periods in the bucket name, I synced the files to a new bucket without them. I reconfigured the CloudFront server to use the new bucket, and all is well. There's even new photos to prove it.On twitter.com
