Apparently it is possible to buy a pair of sneakers that require an app to lace. (In as much as the laces are all cables and gears inaccessibly concealed in the shoe.) The fact that a firmware app is bricking peoples shoes is not a universe in which I would have chosen to live.On twitter.com
