I’m not uniformly pleased with the way Unicode is being hijacked for emoji. I’m glad that U+01F449 (👉) and U+01F517 (🔗) display in the browser, but I don’t necessarily want little colored pictures as opposed to black and white typographic characters.On twitter.com
