Usually, I burn the boot disk to the ground before reinstalling, but there was some faff about booting from an external drive, and there was an option to reinstall, so I let it…it’s done it without deleting apps or users. Clever, maybe, but am I confident in the result? No.On twitter.com

Now I’ve burned it to the ground and started over. Apple support had me fuss with a few more things. Sending it in for repair is the *next* step, I’m assured.Permalink On twitter.com
